“The Hologram” is a brand new top-down RPG written in Python 3.13.1, using the pygame module (currently being rewritten in Java).  You play as Doc, exploring the island of Topaz, to battle the unhinged, godlike being who calls itself Aesor.

WASD/Arrow Keys: move around

CTRL: speed up

E: print player’s coordinates

Z: open inventory

X: open player’s stats

C: open controls

M: toggle music

, .: lower/raise volume, respectively

B: start battle

P: lose 3 HP

[ ]: level down/level up, respectively
